| At approx.4pm yesterday April 16 strong Tornados of magnitude F-3
hit Nashville,Tenn. At approx.730pm a tornado warning went out to
western NC counties (Buncome,Henderson,Etc.).A strong mesocyclone was
verified on doppler radar and was tracked past Statesville as a strong
cell still not producing any tornados but carring the sig. of tornatic
possabilities. As the storm passed over Henderson County (where I live)
it dropped egg size hail and was accompnied by 40mph winds. There was
ninimal damage to property buy I would say the nerve damage will be here
for a long time since the people in this area of the mountains are not
used to this kind of weather. |
