Live Storm Investigation : Pressure Drop 1/9/98

As the frontal system moved out of the NE US on Friday, it brought high winds to isolated areas including Central Pennsylvania.  Member Howard Reicher files this report of a sudden pressure fall.  Unfortunately no other CASI members or reporting stations were close enough to record additional data on the event.  Neither Pittsburgh nor Washington was able to record this rare mesoscale event. If anyone has any additional data on pressure fluctuations that night please e-mail CASI.
